FOOTBALL
Allow us to give your team the best start to the season by training in a warmer climate. We can arrange accommodation, transportation, booking of training fields and any other local services to maximize the benefit of your football team's training. Many European football teams have for years been choosing Cyprus as their destination in preparation for the next season, as have women’s teams, school teams and special interest teams. These include Ipswich Town FC (England, in Premier League 2002), AIK (Sweden), AC Sparta Praha (Czech Republic), Crystal Palace (England) and FC Dinamo Moscow (Russsia). They are a common sight on the island’s sandy beaches exercising those leg muscles and building up stamina.
SCUBA
Bring your group to Cyprus for a diving holiday. With water temperature ranging from 25 °C in the summer months to 16 °C in the winter, no tides or dangerous currents and the absence of plankton inhibiting visibility, Cyprus is an ideal place to learn to dive or gain some advanced diving skills. There are numerous exciting wrecks and doves are organized by several PADI diving centres at all coastal resorts. The most outstanding diving site is considered to be the wreck of the Zenobia, a Swedish Ro-Ro 172m ferry carrying 108 articulated lorries which sank on its maiden voyage in 1980. This is rated one of the 10 best wreck dives in the world. Both the ferry and its cargo are still intact and the wreck is also home to schools of fish, including grouper, barracuda and tuna. The dive starts at 17m and bottoms at 43m. There are many other wrecks dotted around Cyprus waters within easy reach from shore. Elsewhere there are some spectacular caves and tunnels and a wide variety of marine life, such as moray eels, bream, grouper, turtles, soldier fish, fan worms and Spiro graphs. Sea turtles can also be spotted thanks to a turtle conservation project that has increased their numbers around the island considerably.
BOWLS
Cyprus is the perfect destination for green bowling enthusiasts with its dry and sunny winters and relaxed atmosphere. Accommodation, booking of bowl rinks as well as games against active local clubs can be arranged for your group. There are various 5* and 4*hotels as well as Tourist Villages providing Bowls facilities - the most extensive Bowls facilities are the 18 outdoor full size rinks (laid with Mastergreen® carpets) and an additional 12 indoor Short Mat rinks located between two 4* hotels in Paphos. The hotels have been chosen to host such prestigious events as the Premier League Bowls Tournament in 2010, the Atlantic Championships in 2011 and the World Champion of Champions in 2012.
